Shooting film can be really scary, especially when you don't bring along your digital for a safety net. And the waiting for the scans to be delivered can be even harder. The day they are due I obsessivly refresh my email at least 67 times. But with the help of the some photography educational blogs, the ever patient and talented people of the Facebook film communities, and last but not least the help of this film shooting new mommy I have found a new media that I am so passionate about. She has answered all of my countless questions with patient and detailed responses. She has let me borrow her own camera and went along with me on a session teaching me different ways to meter and countless other valuables tips. I was so thankful to be able to come to her house and capture her and husband with their adorable baby boy. Baby Jude is so deeply loved as I think you can tell from their faces in these photos. I still have a lot to learn but I hope I get to repay the favor to someone else who is interested in learning film. I am always available for any questions you might have and I'll see if I know or can find the answer for you.
